About Me

I’m a North Carolina-based therapist and at the heart of my work is a deep seated belief that every person deserves to thrive. If I had a motto, I’d say it was:

Stop letting life happen and start making things happen.

Many of us are carrying more than anyone realizes. Which is why I am committed to creating an inclusive space where we can do the work of empowering you to live a life you’re proud of.

I’m focused on supporting teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, career and/or school transitions, perfectionism, life stress, parenting, perinatal & postpartum experiences, and relationship challenges. In addition to my clinical lens, I bring over two decades of child development experience as a certified and credentialed early childhood educator. Parents don’t have to explain the basics; I already understand the world they’re living in. Whatever life throws at you, we can work together to build tools that will serve you beyond session.

Your needs are just as unique as you and no single approach captures all of the complexities of life. In my practice, I offer an integrative approach to meet you where you are. I use a range of evidence-based practices: blending talk therapy (Person-Centered, Psychodynamic), thought and behavior work (CBT and Mindfulness), and culturally grounded frameworks (Multicultural, Solution-Focused).

I will wholeheartedly walk alongside anyone who believes I can be a source of support for their therapeutic journey. I am especially passionate about empowering the marginalized communities that society has taught us to devalue. This is a space where your whole identity is welcome and affirmed.

If any of this resonates, you’re in the right place and I look forward to meeting you.
