Laila Mack, Intern-LMFT

About Me

I am a Marriage and Family Therapy intern currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and have over four years of experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children and families. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, couples, and families from a systemic perspective. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. My clinical interests include strengthening relationships, improving communication, and supporting clients through life transitions and emotional challenges. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered, and I am especially interested in integrating models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy into my work.
