Ana Mahoney, Intern-LMFT

About Me

I bring an approachable, grounded energy to the therapy room and a curiosity for people and their stories. There’s not one “right” way to be happy, and I enjoy exploring where your life has taken you—and where you want it to go.

Therapy is just as much a creative process as it is a cerebral one. Sometimes it’s insight, sometimes experimentation, sometimes radical acceptance. Together, we notice patterns, clarify what matters, and take steps toward meaningful change.

I have been trained in systemic sex therapy, and in applying standard therapeutic practices when addressing sexuality in the therapy room. I approach these conversations—and all areas of therapy—with openness, curiosity, and without judgment.

I aim to create a space that is real, inclusive, and unforced—where growth is about progress, not perfection. Therapy isn’t about finding the “right” answer; it’s about discovering your own.
