What is Trauma?
Trauma can have long-lasting effects on your mental, emotional, and physical health. Whether stemming from childhood experiences, abuse, marginalization, accidents, or other significant events, unprocessed trauma can lead to symptoms such as flashbacks, anxiety, depression, and difficulties in daily functioning. Therapy helps you process and heal from these traumatic experiences by providing a safe space to explore emotions, develop coping strategies, and integrate the trauma into your life narrative in a healthy way.
When one needs treatment?

- Struggling with feelings of shame, guilt, or worthlessness stemming from past trauma.
- Feeling constantly on edge or easily startled
- Difficulty trusting others or feeling safe
- Experiencing emotional numbness or detachment from others
