About Me

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe, understood, and truly heard. I am an expert in working with individuals who struggle with interpersonal relationships, intense emotional responses, painful thought patterns, and difficulties staying present and mindful in stressful situations. My work centers on helping clients build emotional regulation, deepen inner safety, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that are resilient, wise, and capable.

I specialize in supporting survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional trauma, including those whose histories become reactivated during pregnancy, labor and delivery, nursing, and parenting. I also work extensively with clients experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions, parenting, relationship concerns, and those navigating cultural identity concerns.

I work with professionals who carry traumatic stress related to their occupations, including those affected by primary or secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout. I help them reconnect with a sense of meaning, clarity, and sustainable well-being.

Having lived abroad, I recognize how profoundly cultural experiences can shape our identity. This personal understanding, combined with my clinical training, allows me to offer a therapeutic approach that honors your unique story with empathy and respect.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and deeply relational. In addition to traditional psychotherapy including CBT, DBT, and Gestalt, I am also trained in Transactional Analysis (TA), Redecision Therapy, and TEAM-CBT. 

Additionally I can incorporate:

  • Energy psychology techniques that support emotional release and nervous-system regulation
  • Clinical hypnotherapy to access deeper layers of insight, inner strength, and change
  • Faith-based counseling for clients who wish to weave spirituality into their healing
  • Somatic practices that help clients return to their bodies safely
  • Mindfulness and grounding work to cultivate presence and calm
  • Attachment-focused therapy to strengthen internal safety and belonging
