What is Family Conflict?

Every person comes into the family system with different personalities and roles. Each parent and spouse comes into the family with different childhood experiences and ways of coping with change and the world around them. Sometimes those differences and changes within us and the world can cause rifts within our family system. Rifts can lead to emotional conflict, verbal conflict, emotional distance, cut-off, anger, resentment, and so much more.
