About Me
As a natural empath, I have the ability to feel deeply and listen intently to the life narrative of others. My passion in life is to help people understand their own thoughts, feelings, and patterns and to help them heal through that work. I show up with accurate empathic understanding, unconditional positive regard, and congruence.
I work with people who are high achieving and/or have challenges with perfectionism. People who have come to an impasse or a place of stuckness where the old patterns of behavior are no longer serving them. Many people are dissatisfied with living a life that lacks alignment and authenticity, trying to fit the mold of outside expectations. I help people reach a space of clarity and understanding through exploring patterns of thinking, dismantling faulty belief systems, and bringing awareness to hidden emotions.
I help people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, life transitions, stress, grief and loss, and relationship challenges. My theoretical scope includes but is not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness, solution- focused therapy, and strength-based approaches.
I work with clients of all faith backgrounds. As a practicing Christian with 15 years of experience in ministry, I am skilled in using Christian beliefs and spiritual practices in the therapy space as a part of the healing process, if requested.
